	The International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) The IUHPE is the leading international non-governmental organisation of health promotion and health education. The IUHPE is dedicated to improving world health through education, community action and the development of healthy public policies.
	World Health Organization (WHO) The goal of WHO's Department of Health Promotion is to give context and meaning to the principles outlined in the Ottawa Charter by grounding these principles in the reality of people's lives and people's health, particularly those people who live in adverse situations.
	The Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network In February 1995 representatives from the Australian Centre for Health Promotion met with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers who have an interest in and/or experience in health promotion. The Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network was established. The Network is now web-based, providing members with ongoing information about Indigenous health and health promotion policy, practice, events, and networks.
	NSW Centre for Overweight and Obesity (COO) COO is a collaboration between public health research groups to address the growing and serious problem of overweight and obesity, with particular emphasis on children and young people. COO was formed following the NSW Obesity Summit in 2002, and has been funded by the NSW Health Department for the period from 2004 to 2008.
	The Centre for Physical Activity and Health (CPAH) The CPHA is a small team of experts in the field of physical activity and public health. The Centre is a new initiative of NSW Health for the period 2002-2005, and has been established in collaboration with the University of New South Wales.

	Australian International Health Institute (AIHI) The AIHI aims to increase the capacity of health workers and planners across the Asia-Pacific region to respond to the health needs of their populations through education, research, leadership development and health specialist services.
	The National Public Health Partnership (NPHP) The NPHP is responsible for identifying and developing strategic and integrated responses to public health priorities in Australia, e.g. healthy weight, communicable disease control, environmental health, injury prevention, child public health, information development and workforce development and planning.
