Research degrees
The School of Public Health is an exciting and rewarding place to do a research degree. Many of our academic staff are recognised as international leaders in their field and have an excellent track record in supervising research students. Public health and health services research are recognised as an institutional strength at The University of Sydney and the critical mass of active public health researchers in the School means that we can offer students access to high quality supervision with expertise in a broad range of research topics.
A research degree from the School is highly regarded by a wide range of employers, such as government departments, non-government agencies, allied health bodies, and national and international aid agencies and academic institutions. As a research student at the University you will also have access to many specialist research centres.
