QHeRC holds breakfast meetings on the second Tuesday of every month. These meetings are designed to promote discussion on theory, methodology, methods, experiences, challenges and ideas in qualitative health research. All are more than welcome to participate! Advanced Narrative Inquiry
- a 1-day seminar by Professor Catherine Kohler Riessman
Professor Riessman will run a one-day seminar on methods of narrative analysis (advanced level), emphasizing working with oral narrative (vs. written and/or visual) about health and illness. The seminar will be interactive. Participants will be given an
opportunity to submit their own one page narrative segment from an interview conversation. The one page narrative must include your name, the interview situation, and de-identification of study participants. The one-page segment must be submitted to by Friday 29th February 2008. These may be used during the seminar for teaching and discussion purposes.
